I didn’t grow up planning to become a digital creator, cultural commentator, or podcast host. My story starts in Xenia, Ohio — a small city with tight communities, big personalities, and conversations that could last for hours. The barbershops, living rooms, basketball courts, and corner stores around town shaped how I saw the world long before a camera ever did.

For me, storytelling wasn’t a hobby — it was a way to connect and understand life, people, music, and culture.

🌱 Growing Up in Xenia

Xenia is the type of place where everyone knows your name. Conversations are loud, laughter travels, and culture feels personal. Hip-hop was the soundtrack — blasting at cookouts, in cars, and inside barbershops. Those early years taught me:

  • Curiosity about people
  • Respect for real conversation
  • Love for hip-hop and storytelling
  • Awareness of community voices

I didn’t realize it then, but Xenia was preparing me for digital media.at I do now.

🎤 How Digital Media Found Me

My journey started with a phone, an opinion, and conversations already happening offline — music debates, viral cultural moments, relationships, and everyday life. The internet became the new space for those discussions, and I followed.

📈 Building BriceDavisMedia

I wasn’t chasing views — I wanted to bring barbershop-style conversations to a wider audience. Through YouTube reactions, commentary, shorts, and podcast clips, the platform grew one video at a time.

Across social media, podcasting, and streaming, my content has earned over one million views — proof that authenticity resonates.

🎙️ Straight From Da Chair

Co-hosting Straight From Da Chair was the natural evolution of everything I enjoy — conversation, community, culture, and perspective. The podcast reflects where I come from:

  • Real people
  • Real opinions
  • Real experiences

Nothing scripted — just honest dialogue rooted in lived life.

💡 Why I Create

I create because:

  • Hip-hop deserves thoughtful conversation
  • Men need spaces to speak openly
  • Culture deserves context
  • Community deserves representation
  • Stories deserve to be told

Content is about connection — not algorithms.

🎯 Where I’m Going

My goals moving forward:

  • Build community, not just followers
  • Have conversations that matter
  • Document culture in real time
  • Grow as a creator, father, man, and storyteller
  • Expand into interviews and long-form storytelling

This isn’t temporary — it’s a lifelong path.

What Xenia Taught Me

  1. Stay grounded
  2. Listen more than you speak
  3. Be authentic
  4. Community shapes identity
  5. Stories are powerful

Your voice matters, even if it starts small.
